1.5 If these Terms conflict with the Crew Member Agreement on a matter about campaigns, work or payments, the Crew Member Agreement wins. 3.4 You may hold only one Account. You must apply in your own name, using accounts you own or are authorised to manage.
3.5 Creating an Account or applying does not mean you will be approved. We decide who is approved, and we may keep applications on a waiting list. See the Crew Member Agreement.

4.2 You must give true, current and complete information, and keep it updated.

4.4 Tell us at [email protected] as soon as you suspect unauthorised access.
4.5 You may close your Account at any time from Profile → Delete my account, or by following our Data Deletion Instructions.
5.1 Subject to these Terms, we give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the Platform for its intended purpose: applying to join, viewing and taking part in Campaigns, and managing your profile and payouts.
5.2 We may change, add or remove features at any time. We do not promise that any feature, Campaign or volume of work will be available.
5.3 We may contact you by email, in-app notices, phone call or, if you opt in, WhatsApp, about your application, Campaigns, payouts and your Account.
6.1 You must not:
7.1 The Platform, including its software, design, text, graphics, logos, and the names "Signal Crew" and "Signal House", belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by Indian and international law.
7.2 Apart from the limited right in section 5.1, these Terms give you no rights in our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, sell or create derivative works from the Platform, or use our names or logos, without our written permission.
7.3 Campaign materials belong to the relevant Client or to us. Your right to use them is set out in the Crew Member Agreement.
7.4 If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely without paying you.
8.1 You keep ownership of Content you create and submit, such as your profile, drafts and posts.
8.2 You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, display and process that Content as needed to run the Platform, screen your application, run Campaigns, verify results and meet legal duties. The wider licence for Campaign content is in the Crew Member Agreement.
8.3 You confirm that you have the rights needed for everything you submit, and that it does not infringe anyone's rights or break any law.
8.4 We may remove or refuse any Content that we reasonably believe breaks these Terms, our Guidelines or the law.
9.1 Signal Crew is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms (Instagram, Facebook), Google (YouTube, Google sign-in), Amazon or any other Third-Party Platform. Their names are used only to describe how the Platform connects with them.
9.2 Your use of a Third-Party Platform is governed by that platform's own terms and policies. You must follow them, including their rules on branded content and paid partnerships.
9.3 If you connect an Instagram or Facebook account, we get read-only access to the data described in our Privacy Policy. We never post or send messages from your accounts. You can disconnect at any time.
9.4 We are not responsible for Third-Party Platforms: their availability, changes to their features or APIs, how they count views, or any action they take against your account. If a Third-Party Platform changes in a way that affects a Campaign, we may change or end that Campaign.
10.1 Joining and using the Platform is free. We never charge members any fee, deposit or subscription. If anyone asks you to pay to join Signal Crew or to receive work, it is not us. Report it to [email protected].
10.2 How members earn and are paid is set out in the Crew Member Agreement and Payouts, Fees & Tax.
11.1 We provide the Platform "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure at all times, or that any figure shown (such as estimated earnings) is final before verification.
11.2 We do not guarantee approval, any number of Campaigns, any level of earnings, or any outcome for your accounts or audience.
11.3 Nothing in this section limits any right you have that cannot be excluded under Indian law.
12.1 To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, followers, reputation, data or opportunity, however caused.
12.2 To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the Platform or these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the total amounts we paid you in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim, and (b) ₹1,000.
12.3 Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited by law.
13.1 You agree to indemnify us, our directors, employees and Clients against any losses, damages, penalties, costs and reasonable legal fees arising from (a) your breach of these Terms or any linked document, (b) your Content, or (c) your breach of any law or of anyone else's rights.
13.2 We will tell you promptly about any claim covered by this section and let you take part in its defence at your own cost.
14.1 You may stop using the Platform and close your Account at any time.
14.2 We may suspend or close your Account, remove you from a Campaign, or refuse access, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe that you have broken these Terms or any linked document, that your Account poses a risk of fraud, legal liability or harm, or if the law requires it. Where it is safe and lawful to do so, we will tell you why.
14.3 We may also close Accounts that have been inactive for a long period, after giving you notice by email.
14.4 What happens to earnings on termination is set out in the Crew Member Agreement. Sections 7, 8.2 (for Content already used), 11, 12, 13, 16 and 18 continue after termination.
15.1 We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
15.2 For material changes, we will give you at least 7 days' notice by email or in-app notice before they take effect, unless a change is needed sooner to meet a legal requirement or to stop fraud.
15.3 If you keep using the Platform after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you may close your Account.
16.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
16.2 If a dispute arises, write to us first at [email protected]. We will both try in good faith to settle it within 30 days.
16.3 Any dispute not settled within 30 days will be finally resolved by arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. There will be a sole arbitrator appointed by mutual agreement or, failing agreement, under that Act. The seat and venue of arbitration will be New Delhi, India. The language will be English. The arbitration may be conducted online where the arbitrator agrees.
16.4 Subject to section 16.3, the courts at New Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction, including for interim relief. Either party may seek urgent interim relief from those courts at any time.
16.5 Nothing here prevents you from approaching the Data Protection Board of India on a personal data matter, as described in our Grievances page.
17.1 We will send notices to the email address on your Account, or show them in the Platform. A notice sent by email is treated as received when sent, unless we receive a delivery failure message.
17.2 Send notices to us at [email protected], or by post to VATSALAYA RASA PRIVATE LIMITED, WZ-1324, Rani Bagh, Pitampura, Delhi 110034.
18.1 Severability. If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest stays in force, and the invalid part will be applied to the fullest extent allowed.
18.2 No waiver. If we do not enforce a right immediately, we have not given it up.
18.3 Assignment. You may not transfer your rights or duties under these Terms. We may transfer ours to a group company or to a buyer of all or part of our business, with notice to you.
18.4 Events beyond control. Neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, such as outages of Third-Party Platforms, banking or payment systems, or acts of government.
18.5 No partnership. These Terms do not create any employment, partnership, joint venture or agency between you and us.
18.6 Entire agreement. These Terms, with the documents listed in section 1.4 and any Campaign brief you accept, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Platform. They replace any earlier understanding on the same subject.
